It is our responsibility to keep you informed of costs and to give you a clear bill which shows the work done and the amount charged.
Costs are always consulted with the client before undertaking the case or performing other actions.
At your first meeting, you will be told how we calculate our charges. We will give you a detailed breakdown of the estimated total costs. Everything depends of different factors, such as:
• complexity of the case
• the legal advice
• meetings
• telephone calls
• telephone calls made on your behalf
• time spent negotiating with opponent
• time spent representing you in court,
• settling your case.
In litigation matters you may be able to recover your costs from the opposing party if you win your case.
Fees are payable in advance, although in particular cases it is possible to split into instalments. In the event when the case is carried out outside the place of the Chancellery, client is responsible to pay for travel expenses in accordance with Government Regulations, so-called business trips.
Office is a VAT payer.
